Bill,
    I keep seperate writelog.ini files for rtty and cw contesting. This
prevents many problems that you can run into when switching between the 
two.  I use batch files to copy in the one for the type of contesting
I am going to do. 
        This also works great if you want to use two different setups,
like I do on my laptop. One setup is for using my IC-706, the other is
to use my Kenwood TS-440. 
   The writelog.ini file is in the /windows directory.
