Well, I somehow sensed it might be coming today, 'cuz the wind is pretty strong outside.

Circa 0045 UTC...a few minutes ago...I was outside checking out the primary organic tower situation while waiting for my worker-bee to (hopefully) show up.

So, what is the sound of a tree when it falls in the forest?

I had just been under this bad boy yesterday re-routing a 160m radial from when it's un-separated twin hit the ground a month or so ago.

Not a good feeling to watch your primary wire antenna support (45ft pine tree) go WHOOOOOOSHHHH, THUDDDDD and take the fairly new 40m Extended Double Zepp with it (and support for an experimental 5el 20m low inverted vee yagi).

"What NAQP?"

Fortunately, this one also fell with only a couple of tips of branches against the adjacent row in the vineyard, but pretty much nuked the plum tree more directly in its path (you should see the ground...it's ugly).

I will try and "hobble" along with my low 40m inverted vee near the driveway.

Thankfully, no one was injured...that *could* have happened with the other work planned for about 6PM.

"Onward...Upward...Stiff Upper Lip Time, etc."

73 & KB...ALWAYS...KB...
