[WriteLog] Receive problem with MMTTY plug-in

WL works fine without MMTTY so I've never seen any reason to install
another program that might cause additional problems. I know lots of people
swear by MMTTY but I've never heard an explanation of why it is better than
just using stock WL for RTTY. KISS principle!

Subject: [WriteLog] Receive problem with MMTTY plug-in

This is getting down right frustrating. Finally got my cabling, ports and
other glitches ironed out and can receive and send AFSK through the sound
card just fine in MMTTY stand alone. When I fire up WL with the MMTTY
plug-in receive is like a brick. Signals on 20M that are 10 to 20 over S9
here barely move the green receive bar. The XY scope remains a big fat dot
and never shows the cross hatches. All I can get on the RTTYrite screen is
gibberish no matter how hard I try and tune an extremely loud signal. Both
MMTTY stand alone and WL MMTTY show OVERLOAD in the display even if I take
off the preamps and add attenuation.

When I exit WL and fire up MMTTY again the green bar meter goes full scale,
the XY scope works and I can tune stations and copy them with no problem,
even with the OVERLOAD indication. I've tried adjusting the volume controls
with the WL sound card mixer, but to no avail. Can anyone give me a clue
what in the sam hill is going on now?
