[WriteLog] Cut number confusion

I'm not sure what this has to do with Writelog, but I very much dislike the
use of cut numbers, too. N for 9 has been in heavy use for years and I don't
have a problem with that, and not with K = 1000. However, when my old brain
expects a number and I get something like 5NN G. (59975) or some other odd
ball abbreviation, the sending station is probably going to get an error in
my log. Since I never review my log after the contest, that error is going
to be sent in.

I thought the purpose of the contest is to correctly transmit and receive
information. If the cut numbers are not translated properly at the receiving
end, the transmitting station is going to lose more than one contact every
time! This alone should discourage the use of cut numbers.
