WriteLog's answer to EXTFSK is called "Software-generated FSK". It allows FSK to be generated from a USB-to-serial adapter like
EXTFSK, but you are unable to:

Change FSK to DTR or RTS (must always be TxD).
Key FSK from a parallel port.

Subject: [WriteLog] any use MMTTY EXTFSK file for Writelog?

Hi
Writelog fans out there.

I have found a new EXTFSK file for MMTTY, but this will not for me in FSK with the MMTTY modul for Writelog. it can be used with USB
to comport adaptors, and are quite inexpensive units.

Its there anyone out there which have solved this problem with using this software with WL?

Is there anyone who maybe have programmed the old MMTTY file for Writelog to fit with new types of USB to serial converter?

Most of the stuff I have got in my hands of standard USB to serial converters, just make wrong FSK/diddling. This works ok just with
MMTTY software, but I cannot choose EXTFSK in Writelog.

the link to the new software for MMTTY can be found on http://mmhamsoft.amateur-radio.ca/extfsk.htm
