[WriteLog] microHAM Router 5.0 Now Available

microHAM Router 5.0.0 with Vista support is now available for 
at: www.microham.com/Downloads/urouter_release_05_00_00.exe 


To install Router 5.0 to a system with a previous version of Router: 

  1) Backup your presets (Router | Backup Router Settings)
  2) Delete all Virtual Ports (Virtual Port | Delete All) 
  3) Close Router (Router | Exit)
  4) Unplug the USB cable from your interface 
  5) Download the new Router from:  
     www.microham.com/Downloads/urouter_release_05_00_00.exe
  6) Run the downloaded Router file  - it will uninstall any 
     previous version of Router and restart your computer 
     before installing the upgrade.  
  7) Connect the USB cable to the interface
  8) Manually upload the new firmware file (Device | Upload Firmware) 
     if Router does not prompt you to do so (not applicable to USB 
     Interface II).
  9) Reload your presets (Router | Restore Router Settings)
 10) Reselect your radio (microKEYER, MK2R/MK2R+ only) 
 11) Adjust/modify your presets as needed to adjust for the 
     changes in Router 5.0 and save the updated presets. 
 12) Save your new "Power-up" settings (Device | Store as Power-up 
     Settings) - (not applicable with USB Interface II) 
 13) Update your "Router Back-up" (Router | Backup Router Settings) 
 14) Have fun exploring Router 5.0!
