[WriteLog] PTT Dropout with Writelog

I've heard there can be a problem if you are using both hardware and software PTT control but not 100% sure.  If you are hardwired
for PTT and using radio control, go to the Setup menu and to Ports and change Comm PTT to NO if it is YES.

More than likely not RF.

During the RTTY test run tonight, my PTT would drop out fairly often in the middle of sending a Function Key message.  It happened
often enough to be annoying.  I seemed to remember having this problem a long time ago and  can't remember if there was a fix.
 
Could it be RF? 
 
I am running Writelog 10.59D on a Windows 2000 box.
 
Any suggestions?
