[WriteLog] Writelog and laptop installation

I want to hookup my laptop ( TOSHIBA SATELLITE  ) to my pro3.
On actual laptop there is no serial port and on mine there is 4 USB (two at the back and 2 on the write side).
I bought an SIIG 2 USB to serial port interface box adaptor.
SIIG software Installation work correctly and on laptop startup it switch on/off rigbalster but for the moment did'nt operate macros...

1st attempt installation gave port 6 and 7 when WL setup show 1 to 4 serial, so as recommended by Dick w0raa I change CommSlot to 6 & 7 in WL.ini but the laptop does'nt see radio + freq + bands even when forcing radio band & freq activation set function left side of ENTRY window.
2nd attempt in SIIG installation I browsed com port and find  1 & 2 available but same thing did'nt work.
3rd & last attempt SIIG  choose com 8 & 9 but no success.

I feed radio spkr out to laptop mike-in
I  ''     laptop ( lower ) USB com port (at the laptop back which I think it is the com 1 ) to SIIG USB / SERIAL adaptor box.
I  ''     SIIG com 2 to RIGBLASTER box the to pro 3 microphone front connector.
I  ''     SIIG com 1 to ICOM CT-17 interface to PRO 3 rs-232 output

Result WL does'nt see the radio, bands and freq.
After I install all the system less SIIG usb / serial adaptor box immediatly on the main computer and it works immediatly without changing or configuring anything.

Is there someone familiar with laptop installation and softwares compatibilities that could help me
