Clay,
Glad the mouse wheel finally worked for you. I forgot about needing to be in the Entry window!
I picked up the following tip from a contributor on the reflector awhile back - sri I can't credited the original author. Since you like the band map this may interest you. Go to Tools/Keyboard shortcuts and program four unused keys for the following commands. I used the keys on my numeric keypad since a Shift isn't needed for them. I couldn't use the <-- key as this is the same as Backspace which does weird stuff in the Entry fields.
"=" ---> GotoToNextMultDownBandmap
"(" ---> GoToNextMultUpBandmap"
") ---> GoToNextStnDownBandmap
"-" ---> GoToNextStnUpBandmap
When I want to jump directly to mults or stations on the band map, without using the mouse wheel or pointing and clicking with the mouse, I just hit the appropriate key. If I cant' hear them or bust the pileup I just hit the key again and move onto the next spotted mult/station. Then, if I missed anyone I just hit a different key to work my way back through the spots in the other direction. Really works slick!
By the way, I'm old Kankakee kid. Born in St. Mary's hospital, grew up in Aroma Park. Spent many a summer working with my dad spraying corn in the Bonfield area! Small world eh?

Gary AL9A

Thanks Gary and everyone who responded,
Mine did already work in VERY small increments but be advised to those wishing to try this is that you must be clicked on the QSO entry window box when you scroll the mouse.
I am running an SO2R setup with a pair of FT-920 yaesu's and was initially trying the mouse wheel while clicked into one of the Band Maps (found out that it does not work there.)
I added the line in the writelog.ini file's [Configuration] section as Gary suggested,
MOUSE_WHEEL_HZ=100 (I went with 100 hz for each click)
For me 100 hz will likely be perfect for contesting and using the DX Cluster, I'll experiment with 50 hz vs 100 hz.
I am a DX Cluster junky, to me that's a lot of fun.
Many if not most if not all DX spots during the contest are spotted to within 100hz I find.
So when I double click on the spot I am close but necessarily dead on.
This will be great to not have to reach back to the rig to fine tune.
Too cool! Thanks for the heads up guys.
I love Writelog!
Any other little contesters Writelog tricks out there that I don't know about?
