[WriteLog] VE7CC packet spot problem

I had a similar problem that power cycling the cable modem and
firewall/router solved. If you have done any firmware updates to an
external router lately, that could be a suspect too. I have seen a LOT
of bad firmware lately that doesn't work well with persistent telnet and
ssh connections.
