[WriteLog] RECENT FILE LIST problem

For several months I have been having issues with the [RECENT FILE LIST]
feature in WriteLog.  Specifically, when saving a contest file(s) WriteLog
is  supposed to save the path to the most recent in WriteLog.ini in the
[RECENT FILE LIST].   The quantity of files to be saved is based on the
CONFIGURATION entry for MRU_LENGTH=x.  (X = number of entries allowed)
This function for me no longer works.   Actually, it has not worked for many
months and many revision upgrades.   I am running V 10.70C.  I save my
file(s) - close WriteLog and, when opening next time, NOTHING is ever in the
recently used window.     Yes, I can BROWSE FOR EXISTING LOG but that is not
how it is supposed to work.

I have WriteLog installed on two station computers and, unfortunately, they
both have this problem.    So, I assume I have something wrong in my
WriteLog.ini file, but no clue where to look.

Has anyone seen this problem?   Any suggestions as to how to fix it?
