[WriteLog] Problem sending CW

Hi folks,

I'm new to the reflector so if my problem has been discussed before, I apologize.

During this weekend's CQ WW CW contest I noticed that when I answered a CQ, the first part of my call was sent improperly.  When I sent my call--K8MJZ the first part of the "K" was dropped which,  instead of "K" being sent it sent "A".  The first "dah" wasn't sent.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
