If your using a Desktop PC, a simple inexpensive solution I have used is to
buy a PC with at least one PCI or PCI express(narrow) expansion slot. You
can purchase LPT cards for these slots for ~ $30.00 .
Install and configure the free Porttalk software
(http://www.beyondlogic.org/porttalk/porttalk.htm_)
and you will get a real LPT port that works with WL.
