[WriteLog] WriteLog and Skimmer telnet.reversebeacon.net

I don't have the VE7CC program and am not familiar with it. I tried the
Telnet address on the Microsoft Telnet provided with windows but it wouldn't
connect.

You can use VE7CC's AR-User program to connect to Skimmer. Set up 
AR-User to output spots on local Telnet address 127.0.0.1:7300, 
then connect Writelog to 127.0.0.1:7300

You also gain all the filtering capability of AR-User.
