[WriteLog] Still not able to select LPT1 for CW

Hi Hector,

Did you do all the following steps? (from the WL archives, 2006)

Try K2QMF's procedure:
1 - Open the Direct I/O control panel.
2 - In the I/O Ports Tab enter the BEGIN and END address.
      For LPT1 it is  378  and  37A.
3 - Click ADD button ( This is the step they left out)..
4 - Go to the SECURITY Tab
5 - Click BROWSE button and locate writelog directory.
6 - From there locate writelog\Programs\WriteL32.exe and
click OPEN
7 - Click ADD.
8 - Close Control Panel...

HI guys
I was trying to solve this problem during the past days but have 
no the
solution   at the moment

I will replace my old computer with a faster and with more memory 
Dell with XP
Pro, both computers
are same brand and similar things just newer and faster, In the 
actual is
running all OK after a issue with

the anti virus upgrade that block the ports but was solved with 
the firewall
properties.

Now I upgrade the writelog to 10.82 in both computers, changing 
all the
hardware to the new computer
all works fine , the USB -Serial for the CAT  and others things, 
FSK RTTY with
com 1 also OK, when try
to select  the LPT1 to use PC generate CW     the window  is gray 
and I can't
make any change on it, in other words
is NOT selectable , the old computer and my Home computer gives 
the option.
The LPT1 is working fine because I can use other Logs or CW 
programs  and works
OK but no Writelog, even I can select
the COM1 to use CW and  works but  and the ALT-K  show the window 
to type.

I was reading the help and download the Direct  i/o  and  the 
same thing.

What I need to do or what is missing in the  Writelog.ini

Will appreciate help to solve this problem.
