[WriteLog] Writelog recording levels

Joe,

Thanks for the follow up. I appreciate you checking out WL with Vista for
me. I have already written back to Wayne assuring him that I did have voice
recording ability under Vista from a single sound card. Before getting the
MK II I used a Rigblaster Plus interface and used the internal sound chip in
my Dell Inspiron 1720. Since putting the MK II in the mix I have also used
the microHAM sound card in the MK II with success.

I did notice one SSB contest a while ago where some of my recordings
suddenly went blank, then started up again. I was stumped at the time as I
didn't think RFI was the problem, but now after rethinking things over I'm
guessing that Vista apparently got into the act and muted the microphone
CODEC for some reason and then unmuted it sometime later. I didn't notice
it until after the contest, so was unaware it happened until I tried to play
back some segments of the contest recording and found they were missing.

Glad to hear the impending changes with WL will not cause me to lose the
record ability.

73,
Gary AL9A
