[WriteLog] Bandmap blinking

I believe that the blinking of the callsigns on the bandmap is an indication
that the 'time limit' for the spot is expiring.  

A quote from the on-line help:
"WriteLog normally enters stations so that they will automatically be
deleted from the map in 20 minutes. You can change this number as
DefaultTimeoutSeconds under the BandMap section in WRITELOG.INI."

I've seen callsigns in the bandmap blink from light blue to yellow and back
to light blue. I think I had figured that to mean that someone just posted
them again. Am I correct on this?

But today I've noticed a callsign blink from dark blue (already worked) to
light blue (not yet worked) and back to dark blue.  Any explanations?
