Hi All

Well in my continuing quest to resolve my Writelog/mmyt/rigblaster
combo I have discovered more infomation.

First let me say thank you thank you too:
Jim AD1C John W5IFP Walt w6sa Jim n7us Don AA5AU
Irwin KD3TB Steve n4dxs Ed W0YK Dick W0RAA

As you can see many offered sugestions.. W5IFP was thinking along the
lines I was about comport 4 already being used for something.

Unfortunately I have not solved issue. Let me give some info again and
something I just recently noticed.......Believe me I have probably
12 hours or so over a few days invested in this.

MMTY by itself work FB.......Writelog great in cw/ssb. RTTY with
writelog NO. I have used writelog with mmty for many years and really
like it. Recently I got a good used 3 year old computer and tried to get
Write/MMTY going ....No luck All new version of Writelog
being use. I have a ft1000mp and Rigblaster Plus.
using FSK. This has worked well for me till now.

Info If you start MMTY by itself my digital light on rigblaster is off TILL you press
TX. Upon returning to recieve digital light goes out.....Fine
Eveen after a reboot If I I load writelog with any contest module Rigblaster light comes on.
It stays on.......I have not even told it to bring RTTY screen yet.
No amount of changes to MMTY inside of writelog do anything.
RTTY screen will load MMTY and it is fine for RX It does not matter
what port I tell rtty screen I use it always say port not available. If I press
TX on MMTY screen I get carrier no didle. Pressing RX does turn it off.
So something is happening.
In main writelog screen I have port 1 set for frequency control of readout.
This works ok.
I took the time to setup spare computer with older versions of writelog
and mmty. Exact same results.???? I am thinking Writelog
has taken control of the comports and will not let MMTY do its
thing. Some may think Rigblaster is the problem, if so why would it
work fine with MMTY alone ? I have operated RTTY for a number of
years and feel funny I cant figure this out. I had a simmilar problem
1 1/2 years ago.......At that time I believe it was Dick W0RAA who
got me going in right diredtion. Believe me if I ever get this going
again I will write down EVERYTHING !!
Thanks in advance to any that may have sugestion......Your time really is
appreciated.
