[WriteLog] Problem with Macros in v10.83

Hello to the forum,

 

I am a new user of WriteLog and I am configuring WL using MMTTY for RTTY
contesting. Everything seems to be working correctly for RX and TX (as
compared to my current usage of MixW) and I am learning the ins and outs of
all the features of WL. The only problem I have found so far that I can't
seem to gain headway on is not being able to get any reaction to pressing
any of the function keys for using the macros. I can select any of the
'send' menu items under ENTRY or by right-clicking the mouse in the RTTYRite
window and selecting send F3 or F4 message. I can also get the transmitter
to key and diddle from the MMTTY window by clicking the TX option. I just
can't seem to get the macros to work. I have been through the help pages and
see nothing about being able to enable or disable them so I am at a lost. 

 

I am using a stock 2 Ghz P5 clone PC with Windows XP Professional with 2 Gb
of memory, a nVidia video card and Logitech wireless keyboard and trackball.
The function keys work for MixW and DX Lab Suite packages I currently use so
I don't suspect a hardware issue.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
