[WriteLog] Error opening Writelog in Win 7

When I open Writelog, I get an error Window with the message - "Error setting up device
names for sound, Vista- Style" When I click okay- Writelog opens and
everything seems to work AOK.

OS is Windows 7 - 64 bit .  I am running the current version of WL 10.85K but this has
been happening for a while, including several previous versions of WL.  I have been searching for a fix to this annoying problem for several months without success.  I did find a reference to a sound problem under Vista in the Writelog Help file, but the Registry fix which was suggested did nothing to resolve the problem.

I note that Irwin, KD3TB, posted an identical problem back in January 2011, but there were no follow-up replies that I could find.

Has anyone else encountered this annoying problem and/or how to get rid of the error message?
