Yes, that is normal in WL after clicking on the call with the mouse. To get
the cursor to jump directly to the serial number field use the Insert key
instead to dupe check the call, send the exchange and jump the cursor to the
serial number field. However, be aware of some potential pitfalls with the
color coding of calls.

If a good call (Green) appears first and then a new mult call (Yellow)
appears second, pressing the Insert key will send the exchange to the mult
call first. You must then left click the first call (Green) to move it to
the CALL field, or, right click the call (Green) and put it in the stack.
If you use the stack to bring the next call into the CALL field the cursor
will stay in the CALL field and you must then hit Space to jump to the
serial number field.

If two good calls (Green) are decoded one after the other, pressing the
Insert key will move the second call into the CALL field, not the first. If
you wish to work them in the order they called you must use the mouse to
select the first call and then space to get to the serial number field..
Then click on the second call and again Space to get to the serial field.

Calls not in the Super Check Partial file will not color code and must be
manually clicked on the first character of the call to move it to the CALL
field.
