[WriteLog] RTTYrite CW decoder

I easiest way I found to get the CW decoder to work is to get set up like you normally do on RTTY where you are copying RTTY or
noise OK, then change to Soundboard AFSK via the TU Type menu in Rttyrite. Then go to the Mode menu in Rttyrite and select CW. Of
course, your radio needs to be in CW mode and your CW pitch has to be set somewhere between 500-800 hz or so. Tune in a CW signal
and there should be a hump in the display where the CW signal is located in reference to the center line frequency which is 750 hz
by default. If you see the hump representing the CW signal, you can either tune it to the marker, or simply click on it with the
mouse to center the decoder onto the signal.

If you don't see the CW signal on the display, you may need to increase the input audio level either by turning the audio up from
the radio (if you aren't using fixed audio from the ACC jack) or use the Windows sound mixer to increase the level.

If you aren't seeing a CW signal in the display, turn off all pass band tuning and you can also open your CW filter to 500 or 1000
Hz and see if you see it.

Mike,

Don't give up yet. It's probably something so simple we're all overlooking it.

What is your OS? Do you have more than one soundcard? What kind of RTTY are you running that is working with Rittyrite, FSK or
AFSK? When you open the Rittyrite Window do you see the little WriteLog CW Receiver window as well? Does that window show any
indication of signals, either on receive or transmit? Keep looking, you're bound to find the answer eventually.
