As I understand it, the "split" is not effective until September 1, 2012, so there would be no effect on this year's FD.

How are the new Ontario sections being handled in Field Day?
ARRL site says it will affect our Field Day.  While sections don't 
count as multiplies ..... if an Ontario station sends something other 
than  ON, my WriteLog program isn't going to accept it?
Any updates I am missing?
