[WriteLog] Got past the MSI problems

Dan,

There have recently been a spate of install problems from users trying to 
upgrade to V11.23L.  I think the problem stems from the newer releases 
rearranging where some of the install files are located.  The suggestion 
from others has been to do a FULL install of a recent version, not just an 
upgrade, and once that has completed successfully go ahead and do the latest 
update install.

Was your V11.17 a FULL install?  If so try the V11.23L update and see if it 
goes ok.  I don't think you should be switching the MSI versions on your 
machine, just stay with the latest one.

An FYI;

I installed Writelog ver 10.90 which did not install correctly buy evidently
put the older MSI on?.  Then I installed the ver 11.17 which seemed to
install correctly.



Seriously though, I'd like to find a reputable location URL for the latest
MSI installer if that particular procedure is going to be continually used
for Writelog installs.



Any chance of abandoning the entire MSI installer?
