[WriteLog] 7QP Module

Hi Rod,

The 7QP module is defective. I followed the advice given a year ago by
Scott, K7ZO, and had no problems with the module this year. Under Tools,
uncheck "Set for Automatic Scoring". Dupe checking and check call work ok
but you'll get no help with the counties. You can enter counties ok but the
module won't tell you if you have a typo. Also if you call up the multiplier
window it comes up blank.

And here's a friendly request for you 7 area folks. On CW some of you
operating on county lines stated your first county with all 5 characters but
listed the additional counties with only 3 characters. Please send 5
characters for all counties. It will save you time on repeats.

73,
Mike K2MK

While operating a FT-1000MP to MicroHam Keyer II in the 7QP, the WL module
began faulting. Thus closing WL to perform a short reset was needed to
clear the lockup:

"Check Call" did not show previous contacts. It did not highlight that a
potential call was a dupe.

Did not accurately count the number of contacts on the "Band Summary"
window.

Did anyone else have module problems?

While I am at it one constant fault is the inability to move from one
module to another [ala ARI to 7QP] without a freeze. It happens with most
modules requiring a form to be filled out when first used. You can close
WL
down for a reset but the WL "Writelog Packet Terminal" will not close.
Thus
a Ctrl-Alt-delete sequence to clear it.
