[WriteLog] Date Change

Jeff,
Finally had a chance to sit down and try a time shift on an old log. You
are correct! If you shift the minutes by some value on a range of selected
and then apply that change to all the records WriteLog will shift all the
records by the new increment, keeping the relative time differences between
the affected records. If the time shift causes one or more records to
increment to a time after midnight the date will change too. Really a nifty
feature to bale out a hosed up log with minimal effort.

hi Gary - It's been a long time since I have needed to and I don't writelog
in front of me, but I recall a few years ago needing to adjust the log by
several minutes due to a clock problem, and was delighted to discover that
writelog would apply the offset to the whole log rather than blindly
searching and replacing. It did all the time and date math correctly. Maybe
someone who has writelog in front of them can verify this... 73 jeff
