That's interesting. To create the various letter, number, and callsign prefix sound files, I simply recorded the alphabet/number/prefix sequences, processed the files, and saved each letter/number/prefix to their sound files... a.wav, b.wav, etc. Doing it that way produced sound files with much the same cadence, and identical levels. Between those and other files, I have close to 190 files.

If you ever wanted to try to make WriteLog synthesize SSB for callsigns
and/or serial numbers, but gave up because it was too hard to create the
necessary WAV files, its not as hard as it used to be. To paraphrase the
quote above: the WriteLog team has no opinion about whether this is a
"good thing" on the air or not.
