Hi Folks,

WriteLog version 12.16 is a free upgrade for anyone who has purchased
the full
version of WriteLog since April 2016. If you are running an earlier
version, go
here to purchase a new registration code: http://writelog.com/ordering

New in version 12.16 since 12.15:

* Super Check title is updated if the DTA file cannot be opened.
* Improve One-Sound-Board-Per-Radio Test setup.
* Fix long-standing bug in the Great Circle Bearings display that
  prevented display of sunrise or sunset times that happened to be
  0000Z.
* Follow Me follows Manual Entry rig as well as real rig.
* Limit Band Map zoom range, and use finer zoom change per wheel click.
* Fix LAQP band labels.
* Update SCQP to latest rule changes.
* Update band edges for 75G and up.
* Improve handling of BandsBandUpRetainCall/BandsBandDownRetainCall.
CALL
  is set only if it was blank before.
* Add support for the new ARRL 222MHz and up DX contest.
* Add support exporting TQSL rover logs for TQP, CQP, PAQP and for
  all VHF contests.
* Fix installer bug that made File/Web-Update… for certain 12.09 through
  12.15 installations break with a “can’t unzip” message.

IMPORTANT INFO:
There is a special installer-bug-fix tool for WriteLog users of
versions 12.10 through 12.15 and that do not want to upgrade to 12.16.
It fixes the "Can't unzip <file-abc>" when you try WriteLog's
File/Web-Update-abc-Files. Just download it and run it:
    http://writelog.com/Downloads/UpdateWriteLogProgramDataSecurity.exe
Please, if you do NOT get errors with File/Web-Update... then PLEASE
do NOT run this special installer-bug-fix tool. We have tried to make
it "do the right thing" for other WriteLog versions, but we would much
prefer you not put that effort to the test.

12.16 upgrade installers are available here:
http://writelog.com/downloads/writelog-versions

12.16 Demo installer is here:
http://writelog.com/demo
Users of the earlier demo versions may freely upgrade to this one by the
same
procedure as they got the demo. Download the installer and execute it.
The demo
installer can upgrade an earlier version of the demo.

Thanks,

Steve N9OH & Wayne W5XD
