[WriteLog] Writelog, MMTTY and FT DX3000

What COM port is used for PTT/FSK and what does this COM port control? Does it control some sort of commercial interface or a homebrew transistor interface?
If you are getting an error from WriteLog that says the COM port is unavailable then it's used by something else. It's possible it could be used by WriteLog for CW or some other function. That happens to me. I use the same interface for FSK and CW. I have to release the COM port from CW in the Ports setup screen when I want to use it for FSK.

Subject: [WriteLog] Writelog, MMTTY and FT DX3000

I have the FT DX3000 talking to DX4WIN and MMTTY as a stand alone, but I
cannot get Writelog to accept the necessary COM port for PTT/FSK.
Writelog refuses to accept the COM port as available.

MMTTY running independent of Writelog accepts the COM port.

But it sure isn't easy transferring the MMTTY qso info to Writelog.

Any ideas or help appreciated.

Alan
