[WriteLog] Telnet or packet spotting

I've gotten the band map to work fine but can't seem to get it populated
with spots. I looked in the "help" menu but there didn't seem to be much
information there. I got the telnet window to open and typed in the telnet
addess for one of the sites but all I got back was a message that the site
was not connected.
OK, where did I screw up???
