[WriteLog] [NCCC] ARRL unrecognized mult ??

Bob & Lex,
My guess is that WL vs ARRL robot have some difference in figuring out a
particular call prefix fitting into the right DXCC entity. Doesn't
necessarily mean WL is wrong.
In my case (DX side) the problem was my logging VY2TT as PE instead of PEI.
That caused an error message and loss of one mult. I changed my log to PEI
and re-submitted which cleared the error and gave me back the mult. WL use
of "PE" matches what ARRL shows should be logged on their web site. So, I
conclude the robot hasn't been updated in a while. That lack of update may
have also caused you guys to lose those DX mults. Just a guess of course.
You may have to wait for your LCR to be sure. I don't know who maintains
the robot.
BTW, I'm opposed to having the robot do that sort of check on logs up front
and allowing the user to correct it. Checking for format errors is a good
thing thing but If I made an error logging something (I do that a lot) then
I should be dinged for it. That said, the actual log check (the real one)
should allow variations in logged exchange such as PE = PEI or in a PH
contest like NAQP, GARY = GARRY etc.
