I suspect this is a clerical error when they did the PE update.  But, best way to know is to ask the ARRL contest desk.  (Then please let us know!)

But the list of approved abbreviations for Canadian multipliers on the ARRL
website does not include MAR.   I think what used to MAR is now NS, NB and
PE.

 

So the question is: will ARRL recognize and accept MAR as one of the mult?

PE (for prince edwards island) was removed from MAR (for  Maritime), and ADDed as a separate Mult.  So, the mult count for SS increased by 1.  MAR and PE.
