[WriteLog] did recent Writelog versions fix some Digirite issues?

I didn't use DigiRite in WW DIGI so I don't know what issues you had. I did use two instances of DigiRite (SO2R on single PC) for FT Roundup and it worked beautifully.
The timeout does seem short and at least five times when CQ timed out and "Automatically Transmit Next" went un-checked, I got a reply to that last CQ and wasn't paying attention and wasn't able to come right back to the station answering my CQ. It would be nice to have it so it answers that one last call after a timeout if it happens.
I did have a couple of issues. One was that I got an error message a couple times when I tried un-checking the "Only CQs" check box. It didn't crash Digirite, I was able to click "Continue" in the error message and go on. I sent the error to Wayne.
Also, when setting up the second (right) radio's sound card before the contest in the WL Sound board mixer control, I was getting an error that wouldn't allow me to set the sound card. The error was referencing something about the sample rate but I don't remember exactly what it was. I went to the Windows control panel and to the properties advanced tab of that particular sound card and tried to change the sample rate but it didn't help. What ended up allowing me to select the sound card was to check the box that says "Allocate exclusively" in the WL Sound board mixer control. After that, all was good.
I was extremely happy with DigiRite. It worked better than I ever remembered. I hadn't used DigiRite in a year since last FT Roundup but it was like riding a bicycle. I like WSJT-X for everyday use, but DigiRite is so much better for contesting.

I'm mostly curious but I couldn't help but notice that most of the
annoyances I experienced in the WW DIGI are gone now.

Digirite performed beautifully! That race condition where after clicking
the call to work Digirite would do a 3 cycle transmission only happened
once in 900 QSOs.

I had no issues with sequence decisions either.

The only thing I still noted was the timeout for CQ on idle is still off. A
few times it timed out in mid QSO, or after completing a QSO, or after a
small number (eg 4) of CQs. But this was not a big deal other than
sometimes requiring an extra round of messages.

A really really nice tool for contesting! 73 jeff wk6i
