Post - Contest:
Thankful for this reflector and kind words of mentors helping out!

Ed & Jim, THANKS For replies and help line on this
BTW, was reviewing Ed's messages and using those as guide

Before the contest implemented following two lines in writelog.ini (Tnx NU4Y)

[RttyContextMenuEntries]
1=PUSHCALL

this took menu out of right mouse click and caused push call on right click
impressive and great option, worked great!

Next on pop call sign out,
I've used writelog for years but just didn't seem to recall that on the,
TU NOW message, then hit F key for message CALLSIGN and report, writelog would automatically pop from Q
like WOW
This worked like a charm and just when I thought the happiness factor with writelog was way over the top, other plus.
(That's probably in help file, just missed it)

Subject: RE: [WriteLog] TU NOW MESSAGE

[Here is the properly formatted version of my post. The first post got nuked somehow.]

I do it with the following message:

     TU %C, NOW %L

This is F8, mapped to SEMICOLON. My normal Run Exchange message is F5, mapped to APOSTROPHE. Thus, all I do is tap SEMICOLON and APOSTROPHE in rapid succession, then turn my attention to a second radio or the other VFO for SO2V. The other stations on frequency print:

     TU AA5AU, NOW
     W5AJ 599 CA CA

Normally, I'm not doing this but just sending F6, my Run QSL message, which is sent by ENTER, since I use ESM. Thus, all three keys are adjacent to each other and they are all I use for 99% of my Run QSOs.

For S&P, my call is mapped to OPEN SQUARE BRACKET and my S&P Exchange is mapped to CLOSE SQUARE BRACKET. Thus, my S&P messages are all right above my 3 Run messages.

73,
Ed W0YK
