[WriteLog] WL remote lockup problem

I'm trying to resuscitate my remote station (K3 + KPA500) which has been
problematic for a long time. Due to the high QRN, I don't really use it.
However, I'm thinking I might try SS CW with it to support my (remote)
club.

I can make the K3 to K3 connection with WL Remote OK, but only for a few
minutes. Eventually the control K3 display locks up. The control WL shows
the displayed frequency and mode of the locked display. However, the
control K3 still controls the remote K3. That is, I can still tune the
band, change bands, change mode, all the controls seem to work. But the
display is frozen.

My local internet is very good, but the remote internet sucks .. but it
should be good enough with about 5M up and down speed and reasonable
latency... for a 2,400 mile link.  I do hear dropped audio packets.
Sometimes several per second. Occasionally I see an extra digit or odd
character in the frequency display... when it's not frozen.

Is there an easy way to kick the system and restore local display? The only
solution I've found is to quit WL and restart (and re-connect). Then it
works fine again .. for a few minutes.
