[WriteLog] SCP Delay/Writelog pausing

Hello all,

I'm having a problem with Writelog 'pausing' while the SCP is looking up
calls in the MASTER.DTA file. It doesn't happen every time but maybe 1 in 5
times..

For example.

If KH6AAA called me in CW, I'd type in obviously KH6AAA then hit F5 (to send
his call) but Writelog pauses during the lookup process, only showing the
first maybe 2 or 3 characters in the QSO entry window and it doesn't send
anything. 

Then somewhen between 1 and 5 seconds it will spring into life showing the
full call in the QSO entry window and sending the CW (Winkey 2 USB). However
by this time the other station has already started to repeat their call so
it can get messy. Changing the SCP lookup options doesn't have any effect. 

 

It did exactly the same in CQWW/SSB but its not so bad as you are speaking
when Writelog is busy/pausing.

 

PC is an AMD 3.8GHz 12 Core 24 Thread desktop, disk is NVME SSD, 32GB Ram,
and all I have running is Writelog, CW skimmer and Onedrive in the
background..

 

Writelog 12.75C, latest data files, (no pre-fill file used)

 

Any suggestions to try would be welcome
