WL has always been a 32-bit build.  There's no advantage with a 64-bit build. The WSJT-X engine decoding is much faster on a 64-bit CPU so run the 64-bit if you have that CPU. 73,Ed W0YK

I'll give this a trytoday.BTW, my OS is 64bit but for some reason, WL version 12.85 is 32 bit code. The new DigiRite 64 bit version crashes. I assume it wants to see a 64 bitversion of WL.  The 32 bit version of DR is running OK.Tks again & 73, Alan  AD6E / KH6TU>> Date: Tue, 3 Dec 2024 10:54:00 -0800> From: <ed at w0yk.com>> To: "'WriteLog'" <writelog at contesting.com>,     <rttydigital at groups.io>> Cc: "'Don AA5AU'" <aa5au at bellsouth.net>,        "'Wayne, W5XD'">         <w5xd at writelog.com>> Subject: [WriteLog] DigiRite 2.6.0.11 Posted on rttycontesting.com>         #FT8 #FT4 #Contest> Message-ID: <004301db45b4$b87f9380$297eba80$@w0yk.com>> Content-Type: text/plain;       charset="UTF-8">> https://www.rttycontesting.com/downloads/>> This is a build of the latest open-source code for DigiRite.  It uses the> WSJT-X 2.6.0 engine which is significantly improved over 2.2.2 and both the> 32-bit and 64-bit CPU versions are available.  The 64-bit version only runs> on 64-bit CPUs but has much faster decoder performance.  Note, however,> that only the 32-bit version has been posted in the past, so there aren't> many hours on the 64-bit version.  However, I've been running it flawlessly> for over a week now.>> Be sure and read all the caveats and notes on the download page above.>> Also, note that WriteLog 12.85 supports the new FT Challenge contest this> coming weekend.>> 73,> Ed W0YK>>_______________________________________________WriteLog mailing listWriteLog at contesting.comhttp://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/writelogWriteLog on the web:  http://www.writelog.com/
