[WriteLog] Restore the network now?

I always thought this was related to the "original" setup of the log was in a networked configuration. 
Every time I use that log, it will look for the network connection.
If I open a new contest log, when not networked, and do not set up networking, the new log will avoid that 
error message. I can Browse and import messages, settings etc. so the new log works like the old one.

How do I stop this from happening?  The log is not networked.
