[WriteLog] weird issue

Been a while since I played with RTTY so thought I would get set up 
early and sure enough can't figure out this crazy issue. Using FTDX101MP 
(preset mode rttyL) with Writelog/MMTTY to Expert 2k AMP. Thought I had 
every thing all set up correctly. The entry window shows the correct 
frequency. Hitting any of the F keys puts the radio and amp into TX mode 
with the MMTTY screen showing hi/low tones and RF going out the AMP. But 
the radio monitor only gives a steady tone so I can't tell what is 
really happening.... am I actually TX both tones or a steady carrier....
