WPX RTTY is this coming weekend! Please forward this email far and wide to
any appropriate forums. Rules:

New Friday practice time! New results article writer! But otherwise that
same old drill.


This Thursday let's have two practice sessions to check out our station
equipment, software and operator(s):



2200-2230 UTC, Thursday, 12 February

New Time! 0230-0300 UTC, Friday, 13 February** (Thursday evening NA time)


NOTE: The WRT 0145-0215 UTC, Friday is also good practice:
https://radiosport.world/wrt.html and happens right before the WPX
practice. **New time is same time as the FT4 ladder; it's a crowded night.



Operate just like it's the real thing that starts on Saturday.  Use
whatever bands are open and active for you at each time slot.



You might want to have a special message prepared to respond to stations
telling you that the contest hasn't yet started.  (Or, perhaps, even
practice your on-the-fly typing ;>)



Most of all, have fun over the weekend in the WPX RTTY contest!  Take some
photos of your operation** and send them and/or a story of your experience
to ME Jeff WK6I.  It will help me write up the contest forthe results
article.


**Reply to this email or please make it clear in the subject what you are
sending. If you post your story to 3830scores.com I will find it there, no
need to also send it to me. (And by operation I mean the contest, please no
surgery photos!)
