Hey

Just to support Hrle's words about the difference between teams and clubs in
CQWW contests, here are the rules for team contesting:

D. Team Contesting: A team consists of any five radio amateurs operat-ing
in the single operator category. A person may be on only one team per
mode. Competing on a team will not prevent any team member from sub-mitting
his/her personal score for a radio club. A team score will be the sum
of all the team member scores. SSB and CW teams are totally separate. That
is, a member of an SSB team may be on a totally different CW team. A list of
a team's members must be received at CQ Headquarters by the time the
con-test
begins. Mail or fax the list to CQ, Att: Team Contest, 25 Newbridge Road,
Hicksville, NY 11801 U.S.A.; fax 516-681-2926. Awards will be given to the
top teams on each mode.

OK Felix u're in.
I think many of you didnt notice what I'm really talking about.
Or maybe I got it wrong? But I find Team Contesting and Club compettition
two different things. In club competition you put the name of the club in
your club affiliation line (RRDXA, BCC.... etc). WWYC CANNOT count for club
compettition type because our members are not within 275km or so. But
there's Team Contesting... each team is made of 5 stations, single op.
efforts anywhere in the world. So you can do both club competition and team
contesting, as far as I know.
Are you LX7I and ON4CCP sure u're in the same type I was talking about?!
RRDXA is valid for Club Compettition but did they make 5 member Teams? I'm
not really sure.
LY7Z for example will sure give his points to lets say LDXG but his Team
Contesting support goes to WWYC Team A.
You can correct me on this one, but I think that's the way it goes.

So far I've set this teams:

WWYC Team A (all band efforts...more then a million goal?!)

1. LY7Z (op. LY2TA), SOAB HP
2. NR3X (op. N4YDU), SOAB LP

WWYC Team B (part time or single banders)

1. K3OOO, SOAB LP (part time)
2. M2Z (op. M5RIC), SOSB 15m
3. HA3LN, SOSB 20m
4. DL7FER, SOSB 15m

If we dont find 3 more all banders, but I still count on LX7I, ON4CCP we can
remove guys and our YL Sara (K3OOO) from Team B to Team A... Nice to see
many many Multi operations.. (Chris... you'll hear me..hehe :-) )
