[WWYC] Club competition

Timo, thank you for the info! No, I hadn't noticed that thing about the Club
competition, but it surely doesn't sound good for us :-( I will write an
email to N8BJQ asking what he thinks about it. It would certainly be a pity
if our club can't compete in that class, but lets see what he says.

BTW, I have been somewhat inactive in the last week(s) as I just started in
the school again, and it requires quite a lot of time. However, this weekend
I have planned to be radioactive again, and I will be making some QSO's in
the SARTG RTTY contest and just check out our new Cushcraft X7 antenna @
OZ7HVI in CW/SSB also.

Just saw an article in CQ Contest with Fred K9YO - very well done!!

Good luck in the contests (at least there is NAQP in US) and CUL.

when checking "WPX sent logs" (BTW, SSB claimed scores are available at
N8BJQ web site, too http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/n8bjq/), I saw
that there was many WWYC members.
But, have you noticed the rules of WPX Club Competition?

"Club Competition: A trophy will be awarded each year to the club or group
that has the highest aggregate scores from logs submitted by members. The
club must be a local group and not a national organization. Participation is
limited to members operating within a local geographical area (exception:
DXpeditions specially organized for operation in the contest and manned by
members). Indicate your club affiliation on the summary sheet. To be
eligible for an award, a minimum of three logs must be received from a
club."

Maybe from N8BJQ you might get confirmation if WWYC is OK club for the club
competition? (And to know in the future ...)
