Hello WWYCers!
Many of you probably know that N6MJ, KK7GW, and myself have been using =
the popular CW pileup program PED. We compete between us to see who is =
the best. Right now, N6MJ is untouchable. (He did say I'd never get 60 =
q's in 10 mins, autopile, and I got 62...soooo...) =20

We have been talking a long time about creating a webpage to compare our =
best scores. Well it's finally here! It's simple, but shows all the =
info we need. I encourage everyone to download PED and join in! I will =
put our config file on the webpage, along with instructions for setup. =20

There are 2 modes we usually use. The first (and the favorite) is =
Autopile. The faster you work the stations, the more that call. The =
pileup gets HUGE. The other is just 1 caller. One person will call at =
a time, and you work them as fast as you can. It's hard to just type =
accurate (and fast enough). Usually we do 10 minute runs so it won't =
take all night, but occassionally we have done 30 minute runs. PED is =
also a great way to improve your CW speed. =20

You can download PED at http://plaza16.mbn.or.jp/~masiii/ and I will =
put our config file and instructions on the webpage in the next few =
minutes. If you have any questions, email me at kl9a@qsl.net =20

Or, visit the WWYC chat room on IRC. I know a lot of people show up =
there already, but with over 100 members, there is a lot of potential! =
I think the other day we had 17 WWYCers there at one time. Great =
showing!
I hope to work everyone in CQWW SSB from the KL7Y M/M.
GL!
