[WWYC] IARU (LY7Z by LY1DS&LY2TA)

Hello young contesters,

This year I played together with LY1DS  in IARU TEST.
We decided to operate M/S in WRTC rules.
It was almost WRTC rules, becouse instead 100 W we run 1KW.
Our PC's was contected in to network and antennas were monobanders.
So first radio for QSO's and second radio for searching mults and spot them to main radio..
There is no DX cluster in my contest position. It was main problem why we missed many mults.




RIG: main: FT 1000MP + ACOM 2000A  support: TS-850S/AT  
ANT: 1.8  -  vertical with 8  radials
        3.5  -   vertical with 12 radials
         7   -   4 ele KLM YAGI @ 25mh
         14  -  5 ele YAGI @ 27mh
         21  -  6 ele YAGI @ 33mh
         28  -  KT34XA @ mh

10m was big problem because just before contest I found out that cable
of 7 ele YAGI @30mh is broken.
So it was no way to change it. And we decided to use KLM YAGI.
This antenna was without cable, and have not rotator.
Thanks LY2CY, he gave us coax and we connect it to YAGI.
Second main problem was mosquitos. Temperature at our shack was
around 40^C and we feeled like in sauna. When we poen the door
too many mosquitos fly in and we had very dificult fight with them.
No more any problems during the contest.
We are quite happy about our score.
