Nate (and everyone else),
I found the home page for the Russian DX Test here:
http://rdxc.narod.ru/news.html
It has the latest rules and links to the (free) software. I don't know
if the software will interface with your rig or not but I believe that it
does have support for a parallel port CW interface. There is a
change to the rules for the test this year in that Club Competition is
allowed. There didn't seem to be any tight restrictions on how a
club is defined so I'd say put WWYC down for your club affiliation!
My local club is probably not going to put on a big effort for this one
so I'll be claiming WWYC this time around.
Unlike ARRL DX or WPX, this is only a 24 hour test that runs from
1200 UTC on 17 March to 1200 UTC on 18 March. Also,
everybody works everybody. So even if you're a low power/modest
antenna schmuck like me, grab the mic (or paddles) and call CQ
TEST. You get points for every contact but the Russian stations
are the ones that really drive up the score.
As in every contest: 1) Have fun, 2) Kick butt.
Hope to see you all in the log. I'll probably be Single-op, Single-
band 20 using my call.
73,
Scott
