Message-ID: <3AF1EEEE.31496D50@gmx.net> Hi Contester ! WPX-CW 2001 is already in some few weeks ! Time to refresh your cw-skill ! :-) Since the start of the BCC-PED-CW-Offline contest 4 weeks ago, the daily updated highscore list signs now about 40 callsigns from contester all over the world like the LU, UA2, DL, N6, KL7, XE1, S5, LY, OZ... A lot of people told me, that they are already training successfully with BCC-PED but don't have enough courage to send in their logs. Nobody has to be ashamed, that he doesn't has such a huge score like N6MJ or DJ1YFK who are running 110 (!) QSOs in 10 minuits ! Even if you can get 40 QSOs / 10 minuits in your log, you are running a 240 QSOs / hour rate ! Send me your scores guys ! This little competition is living of your will to send in the score ! At the moment, Dan, N6MJ is leading the Multi Caller Category, where several stations are calling at the same time, like in a real pileup. Dan is followed with his 80 QSOs by Martin, LW9EUJ and Tom 9A5TO. In the Single Caller category Fab, DJ1YFK (17 years young!!) is leading the top of the list with 108 QSOs and 6787 Points, closely followed by Dan, N6MJ and Hein, DL2OBF. In this category nearly 30 stations did send in their log already. How can I take part in the BCC-PED-CW-Offline contest ? http://www.bavarian-contest-club.de/contest/ped/ped_eng.html Can I have a look on the highscore list ? sure ! have a look at: http://www.bavarian-contest-club.de/contest/ped/highscore.html I would be very happy to recieve some more logs of you guys ! 73 & happy contesting Toby, DH1TW http://www.qsl.net/dh1tw -- FAQ on WWW: http://lists.contesting.com/wwyc-faq.htm Submissions: wwyc@contesting.com Administrative requests: wwyc-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-wwyc@contesting.com From t95dxt@bih.net.ba Sat May 5 14:36:19 2001 From: t95dxt@bih.net.ba (Dejan Menges) Date: Sat, 5 May 2001 15:36:19 +0200 Subject: [WWYC] T90E in ARI IDX Contest Message-ID: Hi, Just to announce that I'll be QRV in ARI IDX Contest full time, from 2000UTC tonight. It's been a while since our last 6m contest so we decided this will be a nice chance for it plus a chance for barbecue. Total qsos worked: 35+21+12 = 68 (woooooow) We spent most of the time on 6m (I really felt like a beacon :)). First day we had total of 15 q's with ODX qso and few more DXs. We had opening on indian ocean and south africa but that was quite poor as we expected lot more ZSs in our log. On the end of the number 1 day even WX showed us it's back and stopped us working - short strong strom passed trough our QTH. Next day we had plan to be active from early morning. I was already at 9A7P club at 7:50am (loc) where i've made few ARI q's. At 8 am instead of going to our portable location we went for a coffee as both of us have had eyes hardly open so we came on air quite late. WX was more like sunny and that was good for our barbecue plan and Q's went on very well (compared to 1st day:)) and we've made about 20 q's in next 2-3 hours.. hehe. We hoped for more OZ/SMs to come but better few then nothing. Last 2:30h 0 qsos. Luckly at that time few more members came in for barbecue and we had nice fun till the late afternoon (and then again rain :() On 2m we just gave points in wish to get few DXs but we were too weak for DXs. We heard few OK/OM/HA/OEs but nobody could hear us. My biggest sorrow was caused by not working HA7P :-) After all it was still very interesting weekend, and we do hope for repeating that one again very soon (when 6m gets in real mood) but also we're on for real 2m fun. This time we had no time for installing 2m setup but Amp and ants are ready for action. Lad mig høre fra jer, så vi kan få luftet OZ7D. 77 Hans OZ5DX -- FAQ on WWW: http://lists.contesting.com/oz-contest-faq.html Submissions: oz-contest@contesting.com Administrative requests: oz-contest-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-oz-contest@contesting.com -- FAQ on WWW: http://lists.contesting.com/wwyc-faq.htm Submissions: wwyc@contesting.com Administrative requests: wwyc-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-wwyc@contesting.com From oz1aa@qsl.net Thu May 31 17:42:29 2001 From: oz1aa@qsl.net (Thomas - OZ1AA) Date: Thu, 31 May 2001 18:42:29 +0200 Subject: [WWYC] Ups!
