Hi!

Being a HF contester only in WW DX Phone, i am more into VHF contests.
My team worked as DJ8SP from JO30EM at 620m ASL. We were low on people
to to QRL and illnesses, so operating the station on so many bands was
not easy. 2m was a real disappointment, as we have been tortured by a
strong intentional interference (100dB carrier on our CQ frequency). The
disturbances lasted nearly the complete 24h, and really destroyed our
fun in contesting. We hope that will never happen again, we are working
on that. So our 2m result was less than 50% of a "normal" 2m result,
despite the extraordinary conditions to the west and south-west with the
best tropo signals we ever received:

2m: 4x9el vertically stacked, 600w: 360 QSOs, 111.000 Points. (Normal:
700-750 QSOs, 200k-250k Points)
ODX: EA1FDI/P IN52LV, 1445km, S9+20dB when worked on Saturday evening.
On Sunday morning beacon EA1VHF/B from IN53 (around 1400km) was 539, and
EA1FDI/P boomed with S9+40dB. We worked on 70cm afterwards.
Unfortunately too less stations from EA active or in the duct.
Other QSOs > 900km: EE2DJB IN83FE 1109km, EA2URE IN93IA 1017km far over
S9, F6FZS/P IN93OA 996km on one of our undisturbed CQs, F6KBR/P and
F6HTJ/P JN12HM 935km S9 with 30w and 9el yagi, F4CIB/P JN02XR 930km,
EI7M/P IO62QH 922km - BIG FUN with tropo!

70cm: 8x11el vertically stacked, 600w: 186 QSOs, 50.831 Points, only
part time due to lack of operators
ODX: EA1FDI/P IN52LV, 1445km, by far our best 70cm QSO ever. After being
S9+40dB on 2m, he delivered a rock stable S7 on 70cms, and we had a
small chat. Unfortunately, he had no 23cms with him, i am very sure it
would have worked.

23cm: 4x14el vertically stacked and 1.2m dish, 100w: 62 QSOs, 12.949
Points, ODX DF0TEC/P JO73CF 616km

13cm: 1.2m dish, 40w: 29 QSOs, 6.391 Points, ODX DF0TEC/P JO73CF 616km

3cm: 70cm dish, 11w: 19 QSOs, 3.542 Points, ODX DK0NA JO50TI 373km, some
low-distance rainscatter

That were the results from my side...It seems as if WWYC is also a
_little_ bit active on VHF and up...nice to see.

For the DX WW Phone, expect me from one of the nice small european
multipliers, plans are on its way...
