Nice propogation during ARRL SSB this year.
We had some problems during the contest.
First morning could'nt operate on 40m. Only 100 QSO first night!!
Coax problem. We fixed this problem on Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday we got PC network problem.
It seems that condition was better on Saturday.
10m was open till 21 UTC on Saturday and till 19 UTC on Sunday.
At 22 UTC on Sunday we got some strong USA West Coast
beaming North Pole. Same on 15m. So we put few more QSO's
in the log.
80m was better on Saturday too. 85% of QSO we logged
on Saturday night.
160m - only 8 QSO's. 7 Q - first night and only VE1ZZ on Sunday morning with
big big signal.
We missed some semirare mults on 40m like: Ar, Ks, Mb.

I just wanted to let you know that I am interested in that V26B thing.
Certainly i cannot tell anything about my free time and free money at that

Nice propogation during ARRL SSB this year.
We had some problems during the contest.
First morning could'nt operate on 40m. Only 100 QSO first night!!
Coax problem. We fixed this problem on Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday we got PC network problem.
It seems that condition was better on Saturday.
10m was open till 21 UTC on Saturday and till 19 UTC on Sunday.
At 22 UTC on Sunday we got some strong USA West Coast
beaming North Pole. Same on 15m. So we put few more QSO's
in the log.
80m was better on Saturday too. 85% of QSO we logged
on Saturday night.
160m - only 8 QSO's. 7 Q - first night and only VE1ZZ on Sunday morning with
big big signal.
We missed some semirare mults on 40m like: Ar, Ks, Mb.

Havent worked any radio now for months because of my studies.
I was planning to work from 8S2F (SK2KW) in the WPX but he had guests coming
that weekend so I will probably do the contest from home instead, if my
father pays the bus ticket!
Im going to try dragging a 1/4 for 40m up on the mountain top that I can
use. My old one was smashed by a moose or something so I just have a dipole
at the top now!

as my stupid worthless brain was sure RDXC is not this weekend but weekend before WPX I missed the rules date where it clearly says 3rd weekend of March.
So far it was always weekend before WPX but this time March has 5 full weekends. That means I'm outta RDXC as many plans already got involved for this weekend instead of next one.
What a blow for me...
Ahhh.. what to say.. there's always next year!
I'll show up and make few qsos that's for sure but ... yeah now I'm really sad!

as I had some problems with the audio in CQWW SSB the category might be CW
only. Very sad to hear about Hrle's date confusion - I had been looking
forward for a good battle with Mr. RDXC but I hope there will be other
WWYC'ers to compete with?
If you have the possibility, please turn that radio on and work some hours

I just got back from my village. What happend?
well
I went to LZ1UO to try My RIG. But after a few minutes and rate of 200+,
my rig failed and i was unable to continiue my operation from there with
his POwer AMP. So i decided there was no use and drove back to my village.
There i made few more Q's and got to bed cause i was not in mood.
I wake up at 11:30 just enought to eat and find my friend LZ4AX from K3CR.
Then we had a good talk for many things and i was of to Sofia...

Hey people,
I suggest we all forget on winning RDXC in club compettition, too much murphy's situations got involved, not only in my case.
OZ1AA, fantastic job!
I'm glad Thomas made it for 7Millions and I hope he'll stick on that points number after the log checking.
Anyway I believe we'll get like 10-15M on the end if everybody send their logs in.
I have made some 30 qsos in 15 minutes and that was all I could get this year in RDXC.
I was so sad about it but ...cant turn the past now..
We have WPX SSB comming and I believe many of you will be on from some big station so we're up to see your plans now dudes, no?
I'll probably work from 9a1p if not for the whole time, just part time, as easter is on the very same weekend.
9a6ndx informed me that maybe ik3una will join us again, so this might be a nice wwyc activity again, but this time we might aim for some bigger result with new amp and better antennas.
SSB not really my best but it'll be fun practicing english and italian....
I see in RDXC OZ1AA was interested in learning russian, I should try with that one too, it's more and more important to work russians and ex.russians (UR, LY, YL, ES, ER, ...etc) :-)

As main loggingprogram I have since 1993 used SPlog. I have about 12000 =
QSOs in my computerlog. The problem is that SPlog is not updated since =
1998, the last version is 3.22 and it works in Dos.
The program is working OK, but the problem is that it can=B4t impotere =
any files from contestlogprograms, newer than 1998.
It give me a problem now when ARRL want the new file format.
All support for SPlog has been stopped.
It is very importent for me to have all QSOs in the same logprogram.
Is there anybody whe know a program witch can import from SPlog 3.22, =
pse let me know !!!

Looks like everyone is talking about WPX Fone. I'll be here at W7UQ SOAB LP
with a tribander and a wire. Either using AK7/KL9A or W7UQ I think. Unless
someone has a cool WPX call they can loan me...? :)

Hello folks,
everything seemed ok for WPX Phone till I found out that my birthday is
on this Saturday and I also have to help to run a special event-station
at our club this day. I am the only one who holds a training call and in
the evening some kind of party starting perhaps. So I'll only do some
hours on Sunday.
Perhaps one of our guys from the training class wants to do some contest
operation. Then we'll hand out the rare prefix DN1, because the
training-call is DN1SFZ (unfortunately i cannot use it myself, only
people without a license can operate with it).
Anyway, I hope to meet a lot of you either with DN1SFZ or with my
personal call DJ9AO.

Going to take the bus home tomorrow and prepare for the CQ WPX contest! Its
possible that I've to take a break on Saturday because our local icehockey
team (MoDo) are in the Semifinals (they lead now with 2-1 in games and they
play on thursday and saturday) and if they dont win on Thursday it will be a
5th game "at home", and that I just cant miss!

Hi there,
I´ll be active too. Doesn´t know exactly what I gonna do but seems that it
will be something like SOAB HP.
We had recently some difficulties with the SB220 and the old RDA-amp isn´t
fixed right now.
Now, as the weather here in Berlin gets better and my little brother is
visiting me I wonder if I have the guts to stay in the club for 48h. Anyway,
we´ll see.
Equipment is supposed to be
IC-736, SB220
a XP708 for 10m/15m/20m and dipoles for the lowbands but I think I won´t get
below 40m for a WPX in SSB...
Have been active in the RDXC as well. Unfortunately a couple of mistakes
occured as I haven´t had much sleep the night before and the cw-interface
didn´t want to play with UA1AAF´s software.
Finally I logged about 1170 Qs in CW only including some dupes but I
actually doesn´t know my score as I logged with CT in the WAE mode.
Furthermore I neglected the fact that DXCCs were couting as multis too...so
shame on me. next time it will be a more serious attempt.
btw. was nice to meet Thomas, OZ1AAa couple of times. Great performance -
sounded great.

I was activ in russian dx contest as 9A5Y SO AB LP....
We was have a biig problem wheat power amplifier, so I was be LP, RDXC this
year was vy good, big activity from russian stations..
I was have a big problem wheat VERTICAL (27m) for low bands (for 40,80,160m)
so on 160m 140qso, 80m only 157, and on 40m also 157 ONLY...so i spend big
time on 20m...(450 QSOs)..
I dont know real POINTS an MULTS results but this is my score
1450 QSOs
ONLY CW !
I work some WWYCrs: dl7fer, oz1aa and others
I can also tell you score of ARRL DX SSB
STATION 9A5Y...SB 28MHz HP
2500QSOs and 59 Mults !!
PLANS IN THE WPX CONTEST..
9A5Y will be on 28MHz HP, operating by 9a3nm or 9a3lg I dont know now.
And 9A5AGL WILL BE ON 80m LP, not for big results, just for fun and give
some points in contest.....

Hello guys,
on Friday afternoon I decided to cancel my operation as SOABHP due Easter
weekend, and let my father LY2CY operate as SO2R.
Everything was ready for SO2R. There was 2 TRCVR's, 2 amplifiers.
All setup was OK.
He starts contest with good runing of USA on 20m. and S&P'ing mults on 80m.
I came on Saturday morning to see how he is working.
There was some problem with my 4 ele KLM 40m YAGI.
He climbed the tower to fix this problem.
At this time I decided to join him and we start to do M/S.
He did'nt like SSB much so this was the reason to switch operation to M/S.
Condition was not so good as in 2000 year.
On 10m only 90 USA were logged. All of them were from South East direction.
79 South Americans came in to our log during ARRL.
On Saturday evening dead our TS850S/AT receiving, after S&P'ing on the same
band where main radio transmitted. So second TS850 I bring only on Sunday
morning. All night we worked with RX problem on Kenwood.
We lost some mults couse no DX CLUSTER was installed for SO.
Our score is - 9,3 M points.
Congrats to NS4W for nice signal all bands,
9A1P for good job.
And other WWYC'ers for QSO's.
