[WWYC] Post contest log checking

For anyone considering this, remember, any post-contest log massaging is
ILLEGAL and AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF COMPETITION.

The contest is to test your operating skill and copying ability during the
contest period. PERIOD. If you made copying errors during the contest, then
you should be penalized - according to the rules. Using something like this
gives you an unfair advantage over the competition.

Lets say I make 1000 QSOs and make 10 busted callsigns. I do not/will not
massage my log. XX1XXX makes 1000 QSOs and busts 20 callsigns. He massages
his log and corrects 15 mistakes after the contest. In the final results,
XX1XXX wins. I lose. But he cheated - flat out.

Gentleman - the contest period is from 0000z-0000z. Not in the month after
the contest before the log is due. Corrections you make as a result of notes
generated during the contest are OK. For example - you have a huge run and
notice you logged a call wrong - DLF8XX instead of DL8XX. Make a note and
correct that after. If you notice the mistake after the contest you cannot
make the change.

This software is cheating - flat out. I hope no one takes up the offer for
this and I hope the RRDXA stops development. You guys are WWYC - the future
of the contest community - and we must remain ethical or contesting will
degrade into nothingness. If it was not cheating, at WRTC the teams would
have time to correct their log after the competition. They don't. The log
immedietely must be turned over to the judge.

If the WWYC promotes use of this type of software, I no longer wish to remain
a part of this group.

Koen - I am not trying to flame you with this message - but please reconsider
developing this type of software. It is flat out cheating. Hopefully you
were not aware of this at the time.

73, Dave N2NL
