Am sure most of you probably follow this list as well as cq-contest,
but for those of you who don't the Logbook of the World fees have been
announced:

I don't see myself using LoTW because of this. I don't chase awards,
but them making so much money off of probably $4,000 worth of computer
equipment seems kind of needless to me. Signing logs digitally, whatnot,
is not easy, and for me to go through all that then have people who
would use my contact have to pay for it seems very unfortunate.

I'll probably be using buro and direct for at least the next 10 years.
